Fill out application and attach resume. Open positions are advertised on the website. Any applications received for positions not currently open are kept for up to 90 days.
Do you want to work on the road crew?
We use 100% union employees on all of our road/bridge crews. Please look below for information on union membership and apprenticeship.
What type of work do you want to do?
Physical labor on construction sites. ie: prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials, removing hazards, put together and take apart scaffolding and other temporary structures.

What qualifications do I need to have to work on a road crew as a union member?
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Pass Drug Test
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to legally work in the US
What qualifications do I need to have to work for Illini Asphalt as a company employee?
Qualifications vary based on job description, but minimum qualifications would be as follows:
- Pass Drug Test
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to legally work in the US
- At least 18 yrs of age
